AAAaaaaannnnnnnaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhnnnnn! {loud high pitched scream here for as long as you can hold your breath}
Having one of those "Mad Gerald" moments {Rik Mayall's character in The Black Adder Season 1 Episode 6}
Yeah, feeling like running around with my hair a mess in dirty ragged clothes unshowered laughing and wailing like a seal on steroids.
But cheer up, it's Rik Mayall day. {okay not really by any legal or cultural standards that I am aware of, just watching old episodes of Bottom, Black Adder and The Young Ones}
It's been raining here most of the week, all dark and overly humid. Dripping dripping dripping.
Did you notice that as the series for Black Adder progressed the character of Bladrick got stupider and stupider? I noticed that.

New wrestlers are creating new story lines.
I have two complaints #1 Corp. Robinson's new hair do is a major don't
and #2 Why isn't Trent Acid on the top 5 list? you have Bull Pain on there....why?

Am I having a Carrie moment?
Today was one of those days where I just didn't want to talk to anyone. So I curled up on the sofa in my Insane Clown Posse hoodie and watched half of season 1 and the middle of season 3 of Sex and the City.
One of the episodes that stuck out was where Carrie asks "Do we need drama to make a relationship work?" (episode 37 'Drama Queens') In that episode everything is going perfect between Carrie and Aidan. Maybe too perfect.
The idea of self sabotage is something we all do but can't seem to see it when it is happening, or admit it when it is pointed out to us.
I keep wondering if I have killed my relationships when they were going well because I just couldn't believe it was. It seems I have at lest once; as D'argo pointed that out to me. (I haven't figured out if he is my Big, my Aidan, my Burger or just where he really fit in the grand scheme of things.) It is a hard pill to swallow when someone you love tells you to relax cause you are sabotaging yourself.
Did I learn anything from my little mini SATC marathon? Only that I miss him alot. I also couldn't help but think of the TrainWreck who walked out on me back in 2004. Two very different men two very different relationships one final result. They left a major imprint on my soul and maybe even my psyche.
Can we really get past our great loves or are we doomed the moment we set eyes on them?
In another episode, (episode 67 'Anchors Away') Charlotte tells Carrie that you only get two great loves in a lifetime. If that is true then I have played both my hands.
If we really need drama to make a relationship work; then how do we know it's working?

Back the Freal up before I back the truck up
God damn it!
Was talking to Somber and her mom. Her mom is a stubborn woman. Fine can deal with that.
Through out the conversation everything I said she stomped on without reason to. The conversation ended with her telling me my work was crap and I was crazy. I asked her why she thought that and she logged off of the chat.
Yes this was an internet conversation.
No one likes to be insulted. All she had to do was say that she disagreed with my point of view. She did not have to be rude about it.
Somber kept defending her mom by saying "That's just how she is."
I understand you wanting to stand by your mom; no harm in that. But I came to the conversation with an open mind to her topics, even at times could see how they fit into what we were trying to say with our topics. But she wouldn't even try to see mine, hell she wouldn't even listen to a full sentence I said.
There has been so many issues with the little group I have been part of these last few months, but then again what can I expect? No friendship/relationship can make it past the 3 month mark without the foundation cracking.
So here is the question, when do you move on and when do you try to work it out? What is the line of battle to be drawn? How many little things should you ignore before they become too big to handle?

C-51/52
I don't know alot about this, but I do know it's causing a stir around here.
The Canadian Government is trying once again to pass the bill stating that certain health food items are not listed as such. This has to do with the drug companies not wanting major competition and deciding that a drug label should be on certain things.
I was passed a very lengthy email from the Superior Shores Wellness Center along with an online address to send the protests. www.healthcanadaabuse.com

Tartini : The SATC review
Over $56.8 Million dollars opening weekend, ($25 million opening night) which tells you that people want more.
And the heads of HBO answered with this movie tie in book, hardcover. It covers the film, some behind the scenes stuff, and is just absolutely fabulous. It is a spoiler if you haven't seen the film yet so buy it after you watch.
Ninja and I went Sunday to the matinee , she took her sunglasses ;I took my black Chapters Book Tote with 3 packs of tissue. Yes, I knew crying would be involved, thank goddess we were not the only ones in the cinema with our eye make-up down to our shoes. There wasn't any room infront of the bathroom mirrors in the ladies room after the film as the entire cinema piled into the ladies room to fix their eyes. I left the building going "wait! The scene with Standford and Anthony, when did that storyline happen?"
The movie itself didn't start till after -brace yourself- the 25mintues of promos and previews. We heard about all the product placements, but until you are sitting in the cinema waiting for it to start, you don't realize how much products actually went into this film.
We ended up going to the mall for lunch and wouldn't you know it, every single store that sells women's clothes is carrying the trademark pink in their lines this year. Funny, I was at the mall last week and not a dash of pink to be found. Is that timing or what?
Yes I will be running out to buy the DVD release of this film when it comes out, and no I will not have pudding in my Prada.
